The holidays are coming, and with them a host of preparations and excitement! Especially when we're talking about Facebook, because there holiday is just n-yeah! <\/span><\/p>\n

In order to be helpful to you as well as to ourselves, we decided to prepare a short list with 6 +1 tips for content, information and activities on your facebook page<\/a>to help you prepare. We promise that if you follow our recommendations, the end result will have an extremely positive effect on your social media image.<\/span><\/p>\n

Tip 1: Change your cover image<\/b><\/p>\n

The holidays are the perfect time to spice up your profile picture and cover. Use them to deliver festive wishes, promote your Christmas campaign with discounts or just bring in the Christmas cheer. We at Proper.media will use your cover as a link to the post you're currently reading to make it more visible and reach more people who find it useful.<\/span><\/p>\n

Tip 2: Inform about working hours<\/b><\/p>\n

This year the days off in the working week are 24, 25, 31 December and 1 January. However, many businesses plan to operate on the official holiday days due to the nature of their work. Others decide that they will only work half days, and still others plan an entire block of days off as business permits. No matter which one you fall among, clearly indicate on your page and alert your users when you are available. It's not often that you get fooled into visiting a store and then get disappointed because it's not open and you wasted time getting there. Create a post on your schedule page and you'll make it easier not only for your customers, but for yourself as well. Post it once in mid-December and once on the last day of work. If you're a business with a physical location, work with end customers, and plan a serious holiday, it's a good idea to pin this post so it sits at the top of the page during the holidays.<\/span><\/p>\n

During the holidays (and not only) we like to feel cared for and special. If you offer a discount on a service, a discount on a package, or a voucher, but in the form of a game, you will be successful. Social media is a great place to announce the promotion. If your business supports charity campaigns, make sure you show what you've done and how you've helped.
