Briefly about what a brand is and what we should think about
It happens quite often when we think about the concept "brand" , imagining beautiful colors, expensive logos, cool graphics and Facebook covers and traditional TV or radio ads.
According to the definitions, a brand is "A unique design, sign, symbol, words, or combination thereof, woven together to create an overall image that identifies a product and distinguishes it from its competitors." Over time, this image becomes associated with a level of reliability, quality, and satisfaction in the mind of the consumer.
Smart marketers know that branding is much more than a logo. In fact, the logo is the easiest part and only one small (but very important) component of your brand. Smart marketers also understand the importance of building a brand architecture and strategy that incorporates the brand identity with all the attributes such as taglines, speaking style, messaging, etc. But let's not forget that colors, language and visuals are supporting elements, not the brand itself. There is a big difference. But where does it lie?
Your brand is your promise, the value you offer your customers, your community and everyone who comes in contact with your business. It's the inspiration and education that happens as you explain your brand's role.
And are you influencing the positive perception of your brand?
Your brand is your personality, communication, tone and perception to all who "try" it. At the core are a set of experiences. You can't control perceptions, of course, but you can influence them if you know how to build, launch and manage your brand architecture. Every touch point with it is an opportunity to influence perception to build reputation.
Who are you and your role in branding?
You need to know who you are and know your audience!
The core of your brand is rooted in the above and how much you care about others. And it doesn't just apply to you. It's not just about the pretty colors or logo you paid for. Your brand, with all its palette of words, attitude and connection to your community, is the foundation and one of the most important aspects of your business. Regardless of the size of your company, you have one chance to make a first, second and third impression. Every opportunity counts. Every touch point influences perception and builds your reputation, one way or another. You can either start earning and building trust and reputation, or - you can't. Watch out!
Even preparing to work online is important to start building your brand. It takes a lot of effort, but it shouldn't be overlooked because the basics are the most important. Your handwriting should be evident everywhere.
